The MCU’s Young Avengers Assemble In Unexpected First Look As Marvel Fans Await Crossover Greenlight


While audiences wait for the Young Avengers to be officially confirmed for the MCU, Marvel has seemingly teased several perfect new heroes for the powerful superhero team. In recent years, Marvel Studios has introduced a number of young heroes to the MCU, spurring theories that the Young Avengers team will be adapted from Marvel Comics. The ending of 2023’s The Marvels finally teased the formation of the team, though there has been no official confirmation regarding a Young Avengers project in the MCU.




Despite the silence surrounding the MCU’s Young Avengers team, there is still a huge amount of excitement regarding their possible formation. This has now increased as the new Worlds of Marvel experience on the Disney Treasure cruise liner, expected to set sail on December 21, has seemingly brought together America Chavez, Cassie Lang and Riri Williams as three new members of the Young Avengers team (via The Direct). This offers fans a glimpse at what to expect from the MCU’s Young Avengers, raising anticipation for the new superhero team’s debut.

While there still hasn’t been official confirmation from Marvel Studios regarding the formation of the Young Avengers, this new preview from Worlds of Marvel on the Disney Cruise Line could suggest that the MCU is one step closer to bringing these young heroes together. At the very least, Xochitl Gomez, Kathryn Newton and Dominique Thorne have seemingly filmed something together. While this could solely be for the Worlds of Marvel experience, this could also include scenes for the MCU itself, which is an exciting prospect for the Young Avengers team.

This would introduce a formidable new team to the MCU, which could prove crucial to Phase 6’s Avengers movies and other upcoming stories.

It’s great to see at least three more members of the Young Avengers be teased for the MCU, even if the team hasn’t yet been confirmed. It seems inevitable that the team will be forming before the end of the Multiverse Saga, particularly after The Marvels’ ending and, now, the Worlds of Marvel experience. The line-up of the Young Avengers is gearing up to be incredibly powerful, with the likes of Ms. Marvel, America Chavez, Ironheart, Wiccan and more being some of the most exciting new heroes in the MCU, and Marvel’s new preview only elevates this anticipation.
