Prime Video’s ambitious adaptation of Fallout has impressed critics and viewers alike, and the video game series is already renewed for season 2. The show is adapted from the video game franchise of the same name by Bethesda, which follows an unnamed traveler in a Cold War pastiche nuclear post-apocalyptic wasteland. The Lucy star could offer very little in terms of concrete news, but she did lament about her increasingly busy schedule. “I’ve read nothing. I’m so unprepared,” Purnell said cheekily, before hinting that filming would start sometime in the next half-year. However, no timeline has been provided, and the busy schedules of Purnell and co-star Walton Goggins might delay the show even further.

Another main character added to the mix would make the sophomore season rather busy, but the writers proved themselves to be deft at mixing multiple storylines in season 1.
