Liam Neeson’s upcoming film Absolution continues a trend that started nearly two decades ago in one of his most iconic films. Neeson, who turned 72 in 2024, is keeping up his momentum as one of the best leading actors in action movies working in Hollywood today with 2024’s Absolution. Many of Neeson’s best action films are essentially one-person army tales that portray the talented actor’s physical tour-de-force performances​​​​​​. The trailer of Absolution stars Neeson as an aging gangster trying to escape his dark past. The film, directed by Hans Peter Moland (Cold Pursuit, Aberdeen) and written by Tony Gayton (Hell on Wheels, Murder by Numbers), also stars Ron Perlman, Frankie Shaw, and Daniel Diemer. Neeson, an Academy Award nominee for 1993’s Schindler’s List, has nearly 200 television and movie acting credits to his name after making his feature film debut in 1978’s Pligrim’s Progress.

Absolution is yet another Liam Neeson movie that places his character in a situation where he must fight to protect his family.
