How To Increase Adrenaline Rush In Star Wars Outlaws
Learning to instantly eliminate enemies in Star Wars Outlaws and increase and fill Kay’s Adrenaline Meter is key to getting an edge in combat with instakills. Although the game doesn’t do a great job explaining how to fill the ability up, it is relatively easy when you know what to do. As players traverse across more of every planet, mastering this powerful tool will become essential throughout the campaign.
To be even more effective in combat, however, there’s also an unlockable skill to increase the number of targets Adrenaline Rush can hit. However, you need to find a particular NPC from which to learn this skill. Nevertheless, the extra work will be worth the effort, just like when learning how to lockpick.
How To Increase Adrenaline Rush
Rack Up Enemy Kills
Keep taking down enemies to increase Adrenaline Rush and fill its meter in Star Wars Outlaws. This can be done in all ways available to Kay, including shooting her blaster, melee, or stealth takedowns. Once the meter has been successfully filled, the blaster icon in the bottom right of the screen will glow neon red – which you can activate with its respective on-screen prompt depending on your platform.
Adrenaline Rush has a limitation that Star Wars Outlaws players should consider. While it can instantly kill up to three basic enemies, tougher enemies may only stagger if they’re in full health. With that, you may want to time the use of Adrenaline Rush with normal blaster fire to ensure you get the kills needed to unlock the Don’t Get Cocky Trophy or Achievement – which requires you to kill five enemies at once using it.
How To Earn Don’t Get Cocky
Unlock Adrenaline Rush Mastery
To increase the power of Adrenaline Rush, you can get the five kills for Don’t Get Cocky and unlock the “Adrenaline Rush Mastery” ability to boost the maximum number of targets it can hit by two. To acquire this ability, you first need to find and recruit Sheriff Quint as the Gunslinger Expert, but it won’t be any harder than finding a way to get into Gorak’s Suite in the early parts of the story.
The Gunslinger also has an ability, ”
The More
,” that lets you tag one extra enemy with Adrenalise Rush for a total of six.
To do this, you’ll need to complete the campaign quest, “The Heavy” on Tatooine, one of the planets you can visit in Star Wars Outlaws. This will lead to an Expert Intel and an Expert Quest mission, and you must complete them both. Afterwards, you will be able to shoot more enemies with Adrenaline Rush in Star Wars Outlaws.
