Maya’s powers are also rather vague, as in theory, she can manifest any weapon and enhance her body in any way she wants. Given that Maya’s abilities have a mystical origin, she could also hurt Superman due to his vulnerability to magic. While James Gunn’s interest in lesser-known comic book characters could give My Adventures with Superman‘s Chandi Gupta a chance to appear in the DCU, she would have to go through a few drastic changes to work within the same universe as the rest of DC heroes and villains.
