Agatha All Along Midseason Trailer Confirms Major Theory On Billy Maximoff’s Origin & Sets Up Scarlet Witch’s Return
Agatha All Along‘s last four episodes have been teased via a midseason trailer, as has the origin story of Billy Maximoff and the return of the Scarlet Witch. The ending of Agatha All Along episode 5 dropped a major cliffhanger reveal, confirming that Joe Locke’s Teen is actually the son of Wanda Maximoff. Given that WandaVision‘s ending teased Billy and Tommy, Wanda’s fabricated twins, were no more, this reveal came as a shock to many. Now, Agatha All Along‘s witch coven is hurtling into the last four episodes that have been teased in a huge midseason trailer.
The new trailer was released by Marvel Entertainment and officially confirms what was only teased in Agatha All Along episode 5’s ending. Despite the overt teases in the episode, the midseason trailer shows Agatha asking “Teen” what Billy MAximoff wants at the end of The Witches’ Road. This confirms his identity once and for all while teasing his origin story by showing Billy experiencing Wanda’s Hex from WandaVision from the outside:
Alongside other glimpses of Rio, Lilia, and Jen as the other witches in Agatha’s coven, Agatha All Along‘s midseason trailer teases the return of the Scarlet Witch. The shots of Billy experiencing the Hex from the outside tease Elizabeth Olsen’s return as Wanda, with Billy’s backstory likely being a big focus of at least one of Agatha All Along‘s final four episodes.
What Agatha All Along’s New Trailer Reveals Mean
The Story Of Billy Will Be Integral To Agatha All Along’s Back Half
Above all else, Agatha All Along‘s new trailer means that Billy Maximoff will be a central figure going forward. Teen has been important to the events of the show thus far, but there is no denying he has been disregarded by Agatha and the other witches as a “pet” or familiar up to now. However, with his true identity of Billy Maximoff being revealed, it is hard to imagine the character not taking center stage going forward.

Our Take On Agatha All Along’s Midseason Trailer
Overall, Agatha All Along‘s midseason trailer drastically increased my excitement for the last four episodes. I have liked Agatha All Along more than most thus far, holding the opinion that it is simply a spooky, fun, campy ride through the world of Marvel witchcraft. This all remains true, but I am now even more excited for the show to delve deeper into Agatha All Along‘s place within the wider MCU via Billy’s journey. It seems that my wishes will come to fruition after the teases found in Agatha All Along‘s midseason trailer.
The theory of Rio being the MCU’s version of Lady Death is one I have heavily invested in, and the trailer adds more fuel to that fire…
Another element of the Agatha All Along midseason trailer that caught my eye, or more aptly, my ear, came from Aubrey Plaza’s Rio Vidal. The theory of Rio being the MCU’s version of Lady Death is one I have heavily invested in, and the trailer adds more fuel to that fire. Rio can be heard saying that all roads lead to her in the Agatha All Along midseason trailer, hinting that she is the incarnation of Death in the MCU after all.
