Ella Purnell is in the middle of an incredible Rotten Tomatoes hot streak with her television projects. The 28-year-old Fallout and Yellowjackets star began her onscreen career in the early 2010s after making her film debut as Young Ruth (the younger version of the character played by Keira Knightley) in the Kazuo Ishiguro adaptation Never Let Me Go. As she grew up, she took on a few similar roles including playing a teenage version of Angelina Jolie’s character in 2014’s Maleficent.

The show earned a perfect score of 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, but it is merely a continuation of an impressively strong streak on the review aggregator platform that hasn’t seen her fall below 96% for a television project since 2020. On top of being critically acclaimed on Rotten Tomatoes, the above series have earned a cumulative 31 Emmy nominations with five wins as well as one Golden Globe nomination. Purnell’s streak does not show any signs of stopping, either. While it has not been confirmed that she will reprise her role as Lucy MacLean, it seems likely that she will return in the upcoming Fallout season 2. This is a leap of more than 30% from the critic score for the show on the Tomatometer. Additionally, the show’s 58% score from critics is an average of the Tomatometer score for both seasons. While season 1 earned a dismal 30% score, season 2 had a solidly Fresh 86%, making it another Rotten Tomatoes success for the star.
