Darth Vader & Asajj Ventress Team Up In Tremendous Star Wars Cosplay
Darth Vader and Asajj Ventress have teamed up in this intimidating Star Wars-inspired cosplay. Both Darth Vader and Asajj Ventress prefer to work as lone wolves, but there’s no denying that they would have made an impressively threatening duo. As Count Dooku’s former apprentice, Ventress was an incredibly skilled Force-wielder and duelist, giving both Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi a run for their money. If Darth Vader was ever in need of an apprentice, or at least another member of the Inquisitorius squad, then Ventress would have been a solid choice.
This fearsome cosplay by cosplayers Mira and Allgäu-Trooper shows us all what could have been if Ventress had remained loyal to the Sith and Count Dooku. Darth Vader’s looming presence is menacing as always, and Asajj Ventress’ is ready for a fight, wielding her iconic dual red lightsabers.
What might have happened if Count Dooku hadn’t targeted Asajj and her fellow Nightsisters during the Clone Wars? Would she still have strayed from the Sith way, or would she have become a loyal servant of the Empire?
What If Count Dooku Hadn’t Betrayed Asajj Ventress?
Asajj is a cunning, fearless warrior, and though Dooku – and by extension Sidious – hated to admit it, Asajj and the rest of the Nightsisters, who wielded the dark side of the Force in a way that was inaccessible to the Sith, posed a real threat to their power. That’s why they had General Grievous perform a raid against the Nightsisters on Dathomir. Asajj, understandably, vowed to take revenge, and the rest was history. But what if Count Dooku hadn’t betrayed her? What if she’d remained his loyal servant until the Clone Wars came to their tragic and inevitable end?
Ventress’ bloodlust and need for vengeance were overpowering, and she would have been an impressive teacher for Vader’s former Jedi recruits, especially since she had spent so long fighting the Order.
In that scenario, there’s a good chance that Asajj would have become one of Darth Vader’s Inquisitors. She may have even been granted leadership of them over the Grand Inquisitor. Ventress’ bloodlust and need for vengeance were overpowering, and she would have been an impressive teacher for Vader’s former Jedi recruits, especially since she had spent so long fighting the Order. Though Ventress’ canonical story is far from over after her appearance in Star Wars: The Bad Batch, it’s nevertheless interesting to imagine what might have happened to her if she’d remained loyal to the Sith in Star Wars.
