Darth Vader Claims Ahsoka As His Inquisitor In Incredible Star Wars Cosplay
Summary
- This cosplay depicts Ahsoka Tano’s turn to the dark side.
- Ahsoka Tano could, hypothetically, have been captured and forced to become an Inquisitor.
- If Ahsoka embraced the dark side, she and Darth Vader would have formed an unstoppable duo.
Ahsoka Tano becomes one of Darth Vader’s Inquisitors in this stunning Star Wars cosplay. The relationship between Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano is one of the major factors behind Anakin’s fall to the dark side. As Master and Padawan, they were incredibly close, and when Ahsoka decided to leave Anakin and the Jedi Order as a whole at the end of Star Wars: The Clone Wars season 5 after being falsely accused of treason, Anakin’s distrust of the Jedi Council began to fester. He was one step closer to becoming Darth Vader.
In the aftermath of Order 66, Ahsoka managed to escape the clone troopers’ ambush and eventually became a beacon of light in the Rebel Alliance and the galaxy at large – but what if she hadn’t? What if Vader had managed to capture her after their intense duel in Star Wars Rebels season 2? This gorgeous scene by cosplayers Darth Burkhard and Morai (photographed DavidM) ominously suggests what the galaxy may have looked like if Ahsoka Tano had been captured by Darth Vader’s Inquisitors, forced to submit and become one of them – or something worse.
Ahsoka’s iconic dual lightsabers are a brilliant, intimidating shade of red, and her eyes have taken on the trademark hue of the Sith – a fiery shade of red and orange, highlighted by the haunting dark circles around them. Ahsoka’s outfit perfectly matches the armor and clothing normally worn by the Inquisitors, too, including a flowing cape that complements her Master’s.

What If Ahsoka Tano Had Turned To The Dark Side?
When Ahsoka first discovered the truth of Vader’s identity in Rebels season 2, she was heartbroken, riddled with a sense of guilt that continued to haunt her for years. Tragically, most Inquisitors were former Jedi, tortured both physically and psychologically until the only refuge left for them was the dark side. This very well could have happened to Ahsoka if Vader had managed to capture her after their duel, or if she’d been taken into custody by the Inquisitor that came to her hiding place in the wake of Order 66 as seen in Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi.
The fates of other Order 66 surviving Jedi, like Kanan Jarrus and his newly found Padawan, Ezra Bridger, may have been very different if Ahsoka had been the Inquisitor sent after them.
If Ahsoka had, hypothetically, become an Inquisitor or Vader’s official Sith apprentice, they would have been a formidable duo. During the Clone Wars, Ahsoka and Anakin were completely in sync. Together, with the power of the dark side? They would have been unstoppable. The fates of other Order 66 surviving Jedi, like Kanan Jarrus and his newly found Padawan, Ezra Bridger, may have been very different if Ahsoka had been the Inquisitor sent after them. Ahsoka Tano would have been much harder to beat than the Grand Inquisitor or the other Jedi hunters under Darth Vader’s command in Star Wars.

Ahsoka Tano
The apprentice of Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano was an accomplished Padawan who served during the Clone Wars. Ahsoka left the Jedi after she became disillusioned with the Jedi Council, but returned to serve in the Siege of Mandalore at the end of the Clone Wars. She survived Order 66, becoming a Rebel agent during the Dark Times of the Empire’s reign, and her adventures continue in the New Republic era. Ahsoka was last seen stranded in a distant galaxy, having failed to prevent Grand Admiral Thrawn’s return.

Anakin struggled to balance competing attachments to the Jedi Order and his wife Padmé Amidala, and ultimately fell to the dark side, becoming Darth Vader. For years he served as Palpatine’s right hand man, but he was ultimately redeemed by the faith of his son, Luke Skywalker. Now a Force Ghost, Anakin continues to act as an agent of balance.
