Originally set to premiere in October, season 2 part 2 has been moved up the schedule by several months and is now set to arrive on Thursday, August 22, 2024. No reason has been given for the change, but Netflix revealed the news on its official Instagram account in a video featuring the cast “passing the phone” to each other before Kurtwood Smith makes the announcement.

Though season 2 part 1 is only the first half of the season, the final episode was as shocking as any season finale. After a house party goes off without a hitch, newcomer Sonny (Kevin Smith) smashes through the wall of the Forman home in his car. This will undoubtedly have huge consequences for Leia, especially if Red and Kitty find out about the party. Speaking of Red and Kitty, Red’s heart-attack scare inspired them to take their trip to Paris, but last second thoughts might keep the couple grounded after all.

On the home front, several relationships will be tested in the second half of season 2, especially the on-and-off love affair between Nate and Nikki. Though they swore to stop their romantic flings, it’s clear that they can’t resist one another, and it will have consequences going forward.
